Repair closed valley flashing?
Does anyone have any suggestions for repairing closed valley flashing on my roof? I went up into my attic and it is not leaking anywhere that I can see. The only spot it is leaking is right above the soffit outside (so I obviously can't see this from the attic). Will this be something that I should be able to repair by myself or do I need to hire a professional? If I can repair it by myself, what should I do?

You say its right in the overhang get up and look at it.is it the drip edge part?. Could you slid a smaller piece of alum up under the one there. If you cant see it say from the road you could coat it with liquid fiber roof coat. Over the shingles just there in the valley.

Yup it's right on the edge. You can't see it from the road, you could only see it if you were 8 feet tall or standing on a ladder... This "liquid fiber roof coat" that you mention, can I just go into my local Home Depot or Lowes and get that? Sorry for all the questions.
