Need advice on what to get
I got some estimates from different contractors for replacing the roof on my 18 year old house. I have a small leak in the garage ceiling. First, they are offering me a choice of Certain Teed Landmark vs Tamco Heritage fiberglass shingles. Which is better?
Secondly, should I get any of these options?
Replace existing skylight on the master bath.
Installation of shingle vent
Replace existing attic fan
Installation of ice and water guard.
Thanks in advance!

I don't care for Certainteed Landmarks at all. I've had bad experience with them in the past- cracking, getting brittle, pulling off in the wind, not sealing down. I prefer Tamko Heritage.
Regarding the extras, is anything wrong with the skylight? They may be able to do a better job flashing a new skylight as opposed to reusing the flashings around an old one. Ask what warranty they give either way- replacing, or reusing the existing. Or, they may be able to make new flashings for your old skylight- also an option.
If by shingle vent, you mean ridge vent (exhaust), then yes. If it is the type of vent that goes along the bottom few rows of siding (intake) then no... provided you already have soffit venting that is providing your intake.
Regarding the attic fan, my suggestion would bethat unless it's there for a very good reason, remove it altogether, since most often attic fans are not necessary and can sometimes interfere with today's soffit to ridge flow of air.
Installation of ice guard is a great thing to do when the original shingles will be torn off... call it insurance for your wood. If the pitch on the roof is less than 4:12, I'd say that it's a must. (provided you live where ice is a problem!) Be sure you find out if they intend to also apply the ice and water shield to the valleys in addition to the eves.
