Galvanized Roofing

I have an old barn and a couple of out-buildings which I need to re-roof. They have galvanized steel roofing which was popular about 60 years when they were last re-roofed. My question is what are current choices for buildings such as these. I am looking for a relatively low-end solution rather than a life-time roof. Are there different gauges of steel roofing? Any suggestions? Thanks.

V-crimp galvanized roofing panels are still popular in most rural areas. Pricing is relative to the metal thickness. The new colored steel roof panels can be got in most any length. The price also varies on them according to thickness.
