Roof Problem - Newbie Question

I've got a shingled roof about 7 years old. It's in good shape, but I have one place where a nail keeps backing out, pushing up the shingle. I've tried tapping it back in place, but won't stay. What's the best way to fix it without creating leaks? It's over a porch with a ceiling, so I cannot access the roof from below without major work. Thanks very much for your help.

Have you tried installing another nail a few inches over?
Silicone caulk or tar over the nail heads to be safe

Thanks for the feedback. I have not tried that, worried about creating leaks. As you might can tell, this is my first time with a roof issue. I've got some roofing nails, so if all it's needs is the calk or tar, I'll be all over it this weekend. Thanks very much for your help.

The nail keeps coming back up because it isn't holding the wood. Proper solution is to pull THAT nail and put a bit of caulking in the hole. Fill the hole.
Then drive it into another spot 1" over and odds are, it might need to be 3/4" higher, if it's a plank roof.
