air bubbles in new EPDM roofing-help!
Hi, I am a home owner with a 10X15 section of flat roof over my front porch. It is accesses for use through a 2nd floor door, and since it will be used for occasional use as a 2nd floor porch we decided to install the EPDM rubber roof system. We laid new OSB decking and laid the glue per instructions. About an hour later bubbles began to form in a few places, and when I stepped on them or rolled them they would stay down but reapper, and the next day they are everywhere. The building supplier for the roofing said it was normal due to gases that form during glue curing and they would disappear, but they arent. Now when I try to step on or roll them they do not stay down, I am sure the glue has dried and they are not adhered in those areas.. I would like any advise, I am sure the roof system as a whole will be effective, but it asthetically unpleasing, and I am sure it will deminish the life expectancy.

i think your problem is the osb that you used has two sides one has a wax surface the other does not are you sure up put the wax side down ?? are bubbles in a 4 x 8 area is so you miss applied the osb and epdm will not adher to it.
