Cool Roof Ventilation ???

I had a new home built 13 years ago and I believe that the "Top Hats" are allowing snow to blow in to my attic area and was wondering if there is a solution?

what type of roof do you have, shingles or flat, for shingles-ridge ventand soffit vents are preferred-while flat are typically vented on each side of the rafter space,or thru jm vents, but you should try to post pictures,or be more descriptive, even if you post a link that shows the type of "tophat" vent you havewe like pics!!

Unhappy Roof Ventilation???

I just got your reply! I climbed up and took pics. Trying to insert pics. I have a steep pitched, shingle roof. Weather comes in from the side with vents on.They look properly flashed. This problem is only happening when high wind and percipitation exists.Vents are square, approx. 6"x6" and sit up around 2" off roof. Still could use your input. Thanks!
