Jomax by Zinnser is a reputable product. TSP & chlorine mixture can also be used. Bleach concoctions can damage an asphalt roof and landscape plantings, so proceed with caution. DIY roof cleaning can be dangerous in case you fall. There are professionals who specialize in roof cleaning. Once the roof is clean, zinc strips are available to prevent reoccurrence of fungus. And, keep in mind that better quality shingles are available that are fungus resistant.
