Patching Flat Tar and Gravel Roof

What is the best way to patch a tar and gravel flat roof. I have a suspected leak were the flashing on a exterior wall intersects with flat roof.

Thanks ...

Bump off thegravel in the suspect area, flood with hot asphalt and 3 layers of felt, spread the gravel back in.

use a spud bar to clear the gravel approximately 3-4 "on either side of metal seam, spray asphalt primer on area, and let dry, then use karnak ultra-trowel same area with thin coat, then set 6"fiberglass membrane(mesh),then trowel heavier coat of karnak ultra(ultra is rubberized flashing cement)---after you are sure you have fixed leak, put a very light coat ultra, and reset in some gravel there to protect the flashing cement from the sun

Tar and gravel roof patch

Thanks for the info ... I cannot get access to a hot tar kettle .. none availble to rent any longer and cannot rent one from a local roofer so rubberized flashing cement appears to be my best option ...
