? Copper Roofing Shingles for Portico

I am planning on putting a portico at both my front and side entryways. Does anyone have any experience with copper shingles? With the cold, snowy winter here in the North, the only roofs without a lot of snow seem to be the few with copper roofing. How easy are copper shingles to install? How well should they hold up?

Well...from what I know..copper will last 50-75 yrs. The install is the big deal. Has to be done right.

The roofing guys will be around...give it some time.
