Kickout diverter?

When it rains last couple of days here, there were waters leaked into my house from my chimney place. Inside the house the chimney is wet, and water flew down to basement under the fireplace.

I looked outside and it looks like my gutters missing kickout diverters. See attached pics. The chimney cap looks all right.

The roof/gutter place is kind of high and I don't think it is a DIY job (at least not me). So what kind of contractors work on this, roofer, chimney or gutter contractors?

Any suggestions and other thoughts where the leak comes from?

Thank a lot.

You are right the pictures did not post nor were they viewable.
From what you describe I would call a chimney guy. Sounds like the chimney needs repointing. If not they will tell you to get a roofer to repair the flashing at the chimney or build diverters. It is possible the chimney guy could do the flashing as well. I would start with chimney guy.

You used the tinypic shortcut but these are not permitted here.
Post the actual url and we will be able to view your pics.

Finally I managed to post pics to google site...

Picasa Web Albums - rffilco - Untitled Album

From the pictures, I think at least I need kickout diverters, but I still not sure how water leaked inside the house...
