We have metal gutters on our detached garage. Whenever it rains hard, the water overflows the gutter and then drips between the gutter and garage roof onto the ground. I've check and made sure there are no obstructions for the water flow the whole way from the gutter to the ground. What can be done to stop the water from running between the metal (gutter) and wood (garage)? They're approximately 40 years old. :confused:

Hi, I have a 16 foot sunroom perpendicular to the back of my house. I have a decks on each side of the sunroom. My problem is when I stand on the sunroom roof peak. I cannot get to any part of the main house gutter from the roof area of the sunroom. I need about 2 more feet to work safely. I called a ladder place: He said 2 ladder jacks with at least a 28 ft ladder extended as the walking plank. I was not keen on that idea as there would be a sag and that is not easy for 1person to handle. Is there a rig that I can buy or build that I can put on the peak of the sunroom where I can put a plank across to a ladder jack 8 ft away? I also do not want to ruin the shingles on the sunroom roof. Thanks Brian
