Church roof problems (3rd roof in 26 years)

Hello all,

First of all, thanks to all of the experts who make this forum very valuable to people like me!!

I am looking for a shingle that will stand up to a roof that has a tendancy to "cook" shingles at a rate of a new roof every 12-15 years. An attempted ventilation solution that was applied 14 years ago seems to have failed (ventilated nailing base). The latest shingle that is now shot is a 40-year Tamko.

Additional MAJOR changes to the roof ventilation at this point will be cost prohibitive (this is a church that relies on member donations)

Does anyone have experience with "Inspire Roofing Products"?

InSpire Roofing Products

This loosk to be a "slate" type material. Will this product hold up to the seasonal changes in Wisconsin (specifically to the summer heat)

I can post more info (there is a lot of it) if needed.

Thanks again!!

Craig

What color is the roof? A lighter color for the shingle can help improve life.
