12x 50 aluminum flashing roll

there are 2 gauges for this .0078 and .014
i measure the scraps that I have and from a suitable thickness and I get .008-.012 depending where I move the calipers. What thickness do I have here? The price doubles for the .014
Amazon wants 18$ for .008 and 32$ for.014...
Does Home Depot have the same price..???
Anyone know for sure??

Cheap flashing

Hello I just would like to say that if you are using that thin cheap silver flashing on chimney, valley or wall flashing you are taking a chance. I buy my coil at any builder supply and the better quality painted Alcoa, Alcan and others run about $75.00 for a coil that measures 24x50 I know the make a 14x50 but never priced one I believe they are maybe .019 but whatever you don't want to cheap out on flashing that makes a roof tight and looks alot better and easier to work with. The thinner siver flashig will tear or crack easy if you put any kink in it. The small saving is really not worth it in my opinion. John Beer 4U2
