Aluminum gutter is pitting

My home has gutters that are 3 years old. I was told that they are aluminum but the paint on the underside of the gutter (the visible side) is starting to bubble (i.e. pit). Can the gutters be repaired or must they be replaced. If repairable, how? Thanks

You'll need to take a closer look. It could be just the paint that is bubbling. Poke around at the bubbles and see if there is any white corrosion in the bubbles. If no corrosion, then all you need to do is repaint.
