Question where to screw down corrugated metal roofing

We are replacing our shed's roof with corrugated metal. We are tearing off the old shakes, adding more 1x4's in between the ones that are already there; adding tar paper, then the metal. Do we screw it down in the valleys or on the ridges?

You screw on the ridges, using corrugated metal screws with the rubber washers on them. Good Luck

Different makers have different ways. If you want the warranty to hold up do it the way they recommend!!!!

In 45 years of building, I have never seen any manufacturer say to put the nails in the valley. That leads to leaks.
