Leaking roof

I have two small leaks in my roof. I am going to have a new roof installed in about two weeks. Until then, I am looking for a way to stop the leak. If I would add some insulation at the two areas where I have the leak, I am thinking that would be o.k. until the new roof is complete. The two areas that are leaking just get "damp" when we get some rain.
Any thoughts? This is a wood roof and way too steep for me to attempt to fix from outside.

Is there inside access to the leaks? If there is, you might be able to caulk them. I did that to fill in holes from bolts for an old TV antenna that was taken off the roof. It worked great. Good luck!!

Insulation does not stop leaks but wet insulation can be a problem. Fixing from the outside is the way to go, once the water gets inside it's going to be a problem - if you can't get to the outside, I'm not sure how much you're going to be able to accomplish.
