Old roof with many loose barrel tiles!!!

We have a Barrel Tile roof with at least 45% of the tiles Loose.
I cannot afford at this time a new roof. I purchased a can of Tile-BOND (roof tile adhesive) which should adhere 40 tiles only. I am cleaning with bleach as well as using Roofing cement (black tar stuff) in the valleys to stop some leaks.

My question is: Are there any other product(s) that I can use to secure
these barrel tiles to the roof that would not cost so much as the other previously mentioned. (IE: insert for caulking gun?).

Thank you-

By barrel tiles, are you referring to terracotta tiles? It may be a little more work, but you can remove the bad tiles and the ones above them and renail them all through the hole provided. One caution, you may need some substrate work, or felt to help prevent blown rain from getting under them.

Is your tile nailed or cemented or both? If nailed be carefull not to move the tiles around because you will lossen the nails in every tile and create more leaks. There is a product called RT600 and its $4 a tube, you can carefully lift tiles and adhere them . Sounds like you need a roof, have you considered putting on a less expensive roof then tile? Shingles and metal are both less expensive. Check with any hoa to see if you are allowed.
