What is used to fill the end or top of a ceramic roof?

To be easier I used a picture

http://www.roomu.net/files/user11/ce...ccessories.jpg

In this case they used a cover type thing. In my roof it looks like it is cement. Can someone tell me what is used and maybe some tips on how to apply it?

The reason being that the roof was fixed but that part was left loose. I would like to fix it.

Do you just drizzle it over the top?

I'm not an expert with terracotta tile roofing. I am also not sure what it is you are trying to do. Can you take some pictures and show them to us? I think it also depends on the design of the roof tiles.
