French Door Balcony Leakage

Water is leaking into our house through the bottom of the french doors on our balcony. These doors get exposed to very hot dry sun/wind in the summer along with occasional heavy rain. Here are some photos of the damage. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks!

With the wood in that bad a shape it almost dictates new casing, or a new set of doors. Your threshold is for a 4 9/16 door, while you have probably a 5 1/2" walls. The wood protruding beyond the metal threshold is a leak point. They make threshold extensions that snap into the old ones to extend them out further. Is the panel to the left a fixed panel? Only one opener?, or do they both open? There's no threshold for the water to run off of on the left panel, and that is why I ask.
Oh, nice flip flops and welcome to the forums!!
