Roof leaking!HElP?!

Just moved into this house before winter and noticed a leak in the laundry room when the snow was melting,( coulndt tell I have a leak now with no rain for long time) and then another leak started shortly after this one just on the other side of the roof. The problem I have is the house is not mine yet and needs a new roof. So I need a quick patch idea to stop the leak. The leaking spots are where the first story part of the house " T's" into the second story of the house right before the eves. I dont really want to rip off any of the siding and dont want to gum it up with tar on the exterior of the roof to make it harder for the roofers in the future and make it look trashy.

Thanks for your time!!

If you know what section of roof the leak is coming from you can easily just tarp the section. This is what people do to prevent further damage from storm damage. Just search for tarping your roof. There's self adhesive tarps you can use so you're not nailing anything to the house.
