Metal roof installed on damp felt
My roofers installed a standing seam metal roof over a portion of my roof with 50 lb felt that was damp/wet. Am I wrong to want to cover any remaining exposed felt to prevent rain from getting it wet before the rest of the metal roof is installed? What will happen to the part of the metal roof that was installed over the damp felt?

No, it's not the best to have any water trapped under your new steel roof but it will harmlessly evaporate away. One good sunny day should cook away that water.
Even after the roof is finished condensation may form on the bottom side of the steel panels when weather conditions are right. The un-insulated steel ceiling of my hangar often "rained" in the spring and fall when warmer, moist air inside met the cold steel roof chilled by the night air.
