tar patch

HELP...URGENT! can i tar (PATCH) in the rain

They make roofing tar that supposedly can be used in the wet or rain......Henry's product...not sure which one.

I have used a product like this but these types of "in the rain" patches don't last long.
It helps if you can partially shield the repair area while you do it and take some rags up with you to wipe off most of the water.
You will have to work it into the cracks and forcefully trowel it onto the surface.

I don't remember which one either but it states on the label whether the substrate has to be dry or not. Seems like the one that can be used over damp surfaces is harder to apply but it's been a long time since I've used either one.
