Reframing Roof Question(s)

I old garage that roof truses need replaced and/or framed. The highest point is above the garage door and then it slants downward to back to around 7ft tall when standing under it. I measured the length from front to back. Its 30ft. I figure I could 2x10x16 and overlap to 16ft 2x10's to get my 30ft length boards. Whats the best way to join them together when there overlapped? The roof pretty much has to rebuilt like it is now due how low the main wire for the electric to the house is setup. The roof truses is currently made up of 2x6's. I can get pics if needed.

Is there a beam where the rafters will overlap? Pictures would be nice.

Yes and no. Yes theres 2 telephone polls that rafters would overlap but not resting on it. 1 pole is up front and other is near back of the garage. I get pics tomorrow.
