Question Wet Shingles on a few large sections of the roof

I am a new home owner and this AM, I noticed some large wet spots on
the roof. I checked the attic for leaks and could not find any signs of wet spots.
It rained here quite heavily day before yesterday. The roof is about 20 years old. Is there any reason to be worried ?

Welcome to the forum.

Since the heavy rain, has it been sunny, warm, cold, damp, dry?
Photos would be a big help.
For the large wet areas, what direction are they facing (East, West) and are they protected in dips or valleys?

what type of roof? what is the roof pitch?
wet spots on a low slope roof are probably no big deal. Wet spots on a steep pitch roof in direct sunlight may be a different story.

My roof is wet every morning with dew, or frost, depending the time of year.
