Skylight dome replacement for mobile home

Hello all DIYer's,

I need some help here with measuring for and sourcing a replacement plastic (acrylic?) skylight dome for our mobile home. I've been looking online but find it confusing as to where how to measure (roof opening or outside) the size of the skylight and not sure where to order the replacement. Currently we have a clear dome and would like to replace it with the same if possible. Any/all help is appreciated.

I never did a mobile home skylight. Is there a wooden frame in the inside? If so, include the frame in the meassurment.

Mobile homes use similar parts as RV's do. The skylights I have seen are a two piece design that is kind of a "bubble" They are self flashing, stuck down to the roof sheathing and then the edges are "gooped" shingled over to make a seal. Maybe this will help: Skylights | Mobile Home Parts Store or search "mobile home skylight"
