WATER SOAKED 2x4 ON WALLS

Not sure if the right forum. My mother in laws basmt had about 4 1/2 feet of Salt water and about 1 1/2 of sewage (from sandy). The panel and plaster board was taken down and insulation was removed. Was sprayed with a commercial mold retardant. Its been open for about 4-5 weeks and the heat has been on with fans. This was the first flooding in almost 50 years, not common.
I was wondering about just putting paneling or plaster board back over the 2X4 or would I have to take them all down. Any ideas welcome.

I would think if the mold remediation people and the insurance company have signed off on it, after it dries out, it should be good for covering. But that's an "on site" call, as we can't see it.
