Help with roof and vaulted ceiling

Bought a house with a vaulted ceiling in great room.. One wall is cracking.. Roof needs to be totally redone .. Does the ceiling need a support beam ? And does a roofer do this? Or should I call someone else?

Welcome to the forums!

Is the vaulted ceiling original to the house? or was it done later? Usually if original it should be stout enough to not need extra support although it is possible that water damage has deteriorated the support that is there Roofers often do carpentery work from the roof side but you'd probably want someone with more experience to make structural repairs.
