Pine needle and gutter guard

I live close to very tall pines. In turtle spread rambler.

As a result, my roof is always covered in pine needles and cleaning gutters becomes a chore to be done almost every other week.
It's fallen/broken branches and TON of pine needles.
Anyone can recommend gutter guards that actually work on pine needles?

I don't know of any gutter guards that are pine needle proof A friend of mine built a pipe with a U shaped end at the nozzle end to attach to his garden hose so he could clean his gutters from the ground. They sell a similar attachment for PWers although I'm not sure I'd want a lot of pressure when cleaning out the gutters.

I would recommend gutter helmet. There is a really helpful video and explanation of it's design (link removed) My neighbor installed these guards because there are lots of trees in our area. Hope this helps you!

Supposedly the reverse curl systems like gutter helmet are okay but I don't care for those.

A good screen system works well if you are really concerned about the pine needles. I have seen some of the grate systems work well too because they allow enough water to flow so as to let the gutters clean themselves out with the heavier rain flows.
