Foam Roof Question

We moved into a home that has a foam roof. The roof itself is flat.

The roof was 'refoamed' back this Summer. but now with the rain, I notice that there is a white residue that comes down out of the downspouts that mixes with the rain water. I also see it when there is morning dew.

Does anyone know if that is normal? Is it residue from the foam? something else?

No leaks inside the house, fingers crossed

It's the coating that they put over top of the foam I believe. Just like granules washing off shingles during a rain. If you have any concerns, I'd call the company that did the re-foam and ask for info.

Thank you Vic. I left a few messages and waiting for their call back . But what you said makes sense, but I will double check with them.
