waterproofng membrane

we've been using 20mm pond liner to protect basement wall waterproofing against backfill damage. need to source supplier or alternate material. we know about hdpe waffleboard ( miradrain, etc ). pond liner's faster, easier, & provides better protection impo.

anyone got ideas ? thought about roofing membrane but availability is limited to 40mm which's more difficult to handle - thanks in adv.

I'm not a fan of Allied Building Supply but a boss I had always bought a membrane from them when we waterproofed foundations. Any building supply should have it.
