Hi, I have a 97 singlewide and double wide put together, connected at the front and back door. We have put metal roofing on the double wide and a valley down where they are put together, it was still leaking, we have coolsealed, and also put tar down in the crease, I dont know what to do! It is turning into a big money pit and we are all out of money to spend on it.
We have had to replace the floor twice and we are having to replace all the sheetrock and ceiling panels bc they are molding, and you can see where they were wet.
(we did not put the trailors together, the original owners did, and we bought assuming it was fine.. 3 yrs later.... not so good)

Welcome to the forums! I'm not going to ask how they are coupled. Later, maybe. Can you post a few pictures showing us this situation. Pictures tell a big story.

Sounds like a really stupid idea to create (what I would guess to be) a 60 foot long valley that's level, with no pitch in either direction. No wonder it leaks. You probably ought to build a roof-over on the entire structure (or at least on 2/3 of it... continuing upward from the peak of the double wide part to the center of the structure, then down the other side) so that the roof has a minimum 3:12 pitch on either side of a center ridge beam.

Are these MHs new enough to have a 3/12 pitch roof? how was the intersection of the 2 MH roofs framed? Is this more or less a triple wide or does the addition make it more like a T or L shape?
