Shingle Width question
We have something called OAKRIDGE shingles.
In order to cover a 16" square, I am wondering how wide are the shingle sheets? Is one shingle sheet over 16"? How many nails per sheet are usually needed?

Normally 4 nails per shingle. The specs in the above link explain everything.

Ok, its says nominal size
13-1/4" x 39-3/8"
So im only familiar with the portion of a shingle you see on the roof installed. I assume there is about 6 inches exposed and another 6 that is under the overlapped piece on top of it.
And the entire sheet that comes off a bundle, before cutting it, would be the 39 3/8
WIDTH.
Be kind, Im not familiar with shingles.
