Chimney flashing

I recently discovered that the flashing around an old chimney is failing. This chimney is no longer in use. During rain storms, water comes in and flows down the side of the chimney.

Due to the steep pitch of the roof, the height above the ground (3 stories), and my own inexperience, I am not comfortable trying to repair this myself. Can anyone give me a rough idea of what I should expect to pay for such a repair?

FYI, I live in the Philadelphia, PA suburbs.

Thanks!

Cool

Costs can vary from locale to locale and difficulty of the job, you need to call and get three bid estimates for the work.
Leaks can cause a lot of damage the longer they are allowed to go. Get the chimney re-flashed as soon as the weather permits.
Good Luck!
Mike
