Adding roof venting

Am looking at adding some more roof venting. Currently there is eave venting and a few vents on the roof. What I'm thinking of is adding more venting on the eaves of the house which are towards the peak of the house. Not sure how to describe it exactly but I've attached a picture of the current shape of the structure. Please look over the picture and let me know if there are any gains or problems for doing so.

Thank you.Attachment 57910Name: houseVenting.jpg

How about a picture of the real house?
Roof vent are way to low in that drawing.
Just can not imagine anyone designing a roof line like that, just looks like a giant water water trap.
Adding vents where those red arrows are would be useless.
Need full soffit vents and likely more roof vents.
Cathedral ceilings?
