Question Air Vent few away on rainy day, likely water came in. Assume insulation got wet?

I found the cover of the vent on the ground a few days ago. I thought it was blown from a neighbor or something. Never imagined it would be mine, until today when I saw it missing. Last night there was a rare storm (Tempe is very dry, very hot).

I assume the insulation got wet (no signs of leakage inside the house. But given how hot it gets hear > 105 degrees, can I assume that the insulation will eventually get dry?

I will place the cover back, but still wonder about the insulation.Name: RoofAirVent.jpg

Low roof but if you can I would at least check to see how wet it got. Lived 7st and Bell area about 10 years so know how dry it is. Should dry if not to wet. When you put cover back on maybe you can check through hole.
