Is this a metal roof, asphalt shingles or something else?

You say it leaks. So you want to repair a leak or clean a roof surface? Lets just take one item at a time. As Marksr says, what kind of roof, where do you see the leak in the house and can you see the leak point on the roof?

Oops, My mistake. I read as if you saw leaks on you roof. You mean you did not see any threads on roof leaks.

Can you send a pic? What are you trying to clean? Is it mold and mildew? In most cases regular rain and weather will keep a roof clean.

While a pressure washer will do a good job of cleaning asphalt shingles it will shorten the life of the shingles!! I'd spray the appropriate cleaner on with a pump up garden sprayer and rinse with a garden hose.

I've only washed a few shingle roofs. I used a mixture of bleach and TSP.
