Sealing a crack, what kind of material?

We have a section with a flat roof, painted white. I donít know what kind of material this is, but the color is faded and I found a crack. The crack also has raised lips, so Iím assuming i need to trim the lips or sand it to flat before patching.

I was going to used white Henry Elastomeric patch, and the coat with Henry Dura Brite. Iím just not sure what is best for this type of roof cover. Can someone help me identify it?

I would not trim it. Sand it clean and smooth. Then apply the elastomeric patch. This type of repair may have to be repeated after several years. I've had this on my pop-up camper and repaired with silicon.
