Hello,
I have recently looked at a home to purchase that has what appears to have a concrete tile-like roof. From a distance I thought that it was a tile roof, but after looking closer, I found that the tiles were made of a concrete material. Is this possible and if so what can I do if I purchase this home to repair the broken tiles?
Thanks,
DKC

Have a roofing contractor look at the roof. He should be able to tell you if the tiles are still available or not, and give you some idea of the cost of the repairs. You'll need that info to make an offer on the house. The difference between a $500 fix and a $20,000 new roof will have some bearing on what you want to pay for the house.
