How to attach Rubber roof UNDER Existing Shingles.
Looked all over the internet for this, but as always, turn to the experts here.
My rubber roof attaches to the house, and the rubber goes up under the first row of shingles. without having to remove the first row of shingles, how can I attach this new rubber in place? Someone suggested just troweling some adhesive up under the shingles and slip (force?) the rubber up on top of this adhesive, adding weight until the adhesive 'takes.'
Can anyone shine some light on this issue? Is this a good way to handle it?
