What is the best/easiest why to repair and seal a flat tin roof? The tin roofing on three sections of my house is leaking do to a small puncture hole as well as the caulking or sealant drying out. As I mentioned the tin roofs are flat with a slight pitch and sealed between the 3 ft. by length sections. What is the proper sealant/paint to use.

Cool

I'm not a pro, but I would use self-tapping metal screws with rubber washers under the heads (or a spot of black plastic roofing cement) and screw them into the holes.
As for sealing the overlaps, pry up the edges slightly, scrape out any old loose caulk, and recaulk under the laps.
Then use a roofing coating/sealer like Mobil-Kote (sp?) to paint/seal over the whole roof.
Should last for years.
Good Luck!
Mike
