H channel (or maybe I channel)
On my home where the suffix AR there exists and I Channel or H Channel divider which allows me to join two sophits together. This item is made from aluminum apparently. I have not been able to locate it locally. Is there a suggestion of what I can do to find this?

It's called a miter divider. Any place that sells aluminum soffit should have it. Your profile isn't filled out so we don't know where you live to suggest a store.

If you can't find it at a real lumber yard or a siding supply, get 2 j channels and put them back to back.
