Awning removal/ car port fix

Hello,

I have a wooden awning that was bulit prior to me purchasing my home. it is falling apart and i am clueless when it comes to home repair. i was wondering where i can go to find a person/handy man/ or a contractor that can tear the awning down, i suspect it is cheaper than replacing it and we don't really use it. i want the person that i hire to also re-rubberize the "roof" of my car port as it is starting to come undone. can someone help me with

1. where to find such an indiviual
2. the total cost of tearing down the awning and removing all the debris
3. the total cost of fixing up my car port where it is coming undone.

the first few photos are of the awning i want to get torn down
the last photo is of my car port, as u can see the rubber part is starting to come undone..

the total cost obviously should be estimates. please help ! thank you so much!

This is a doityourself site. We would be glad to help you if you would like to attempt the work yourself. Aside from that, you will find the best results by searching your local yellow pages or asking your friends or neighbors for referrals.

Do you get any local papers or phone books? Easy to find someone there. If not, try Angie'sList or HomeAdvisor.
Prices are all over the place. Only way to find out is to get estimates.
