Gutter guards

I have a lot of trees around me.I have tried a number of different gutter guards. Right now i am using a wire mesh that has a hinge (so it can be flipped to clean) to it. The small opening get clogged around this time of year. Plus the shingles are the second layer and they come down right on the gutter guards.This allows leafs and other stuff to clog the gutters. I have looked at many different guards but they all have small opening that would be blocked at this time of year. Some the way they look would let most of the rain water just go over the guards,
So the question is any ideas??
