Replacing a low sloped roof
Hello all,
I’m waiting for the rain to let up on the East Coast before I begin this project, but need some advice.
i have a 32 x 12 covered porch that attaches to the sloped shingled roof of my house and the sloped portion is in rough shape. I’m rippping it all up including the plywood. I plan to use the peel and stick roofing material that you can get at most stores. My questions are, can I use OSB on a flat roof? I plan to use 3/4 tongue and groove, and cover it with the peel and stick type of roofing that you get at most big stores. In addition to that, I read somewhere that I should let that type of material overhang the edges and cover the ends of the OSB, but then where woukd I put my drip edge?
ANY input or advice would be great appreciated.
