Where is this water coming from??

Over the last few weeks we have had a lot of rain in North Texas. My son's bedroom has had water leaking through the floorboards on an exterior wall. I can't tell if it is a roof leak, a slab leak, a window leak, etc.
The ceiling and walls aren't wet.
How can I tell where the leak is coming from?

Welcome to the forums!
Look on the outside. Is the ground higher than the slab floor? does water collect along the exterior side of the wall? are your walls wood framed or block?

We aren't psychic, so its pretty hard for us to give any sort of answer to such a vague question sight unseen. You are there... we arent. If you could provide more information it might help.

If the leak is close to a window, could be the window/siding. Other than that, it's anyone's guess.

Your going to have to do the research to find the leak. With what you've provided us it could be anywhere. You need to look closely in the leak area for anywhere water can enter. It can seep in between the slab and wall, leak in around window or door trim, leak in through a nail pop on the roof... If you want to post pictures of the area here are instructions.

Do not need pictures of the inside (that's not where the waters coming from) , no close ups needed yet.
I agree with Pilot Danes idea,
Slab to close to grade, siding not ran past the slab, no gutters, no french drain are some of the common issues.
