Unhappy Dark Streaks on roofs in Michigan

I posted this thread-- then it got lost in this new advertising shuffle somewhere!! Anyway here goes,This page is to far to the left can't read the columns.
MY ROOF I put up a picture awhile back showing these wide streaks of"something" black dirt color.I saw a--- Ron Hazelton"- on tv POWER WASH these stripes clear off of a roof With what he called "oxeginated cleaners"power washer then washed these lines right off,hope you remember what i am speaking of?Lower mich has much of this problem .Can anyone enlighten me on this problem i desperately want to cure. If i need a picture i will -can't find the first one.

this used to be an easy forum to maneuver around . Not now thanks bob s

It's staining from mold, mildew and dirt. It can be cleaned with a bleach solution.

I actually saw a flyer not long ago from a company that cleans your shingles, I see a little on my roof, especially on the northern shaded sides, but suspect the cleaning might be worse than leaving it alone .

My page is messed up.
Same here. It was bad before (jumbled formatting, features like Quoting, etc) but now it's unreadable. I can't even get past page 1 of new topics because the Page links are on the left. Plus now there's a big over-active dark gray Menu bar floating over the top 1/3 of the page. If you mouse anywhere near it it expands to cover the entire page.

I'll check back now & again to see if it gets fixed. Till it does I'm mostly outta here.

There was an upgrade made at the end of the week and there are a few issues with it. They will be fixed sometime this week. In the meantime, try clearing your cache, as jumbled formatting has to do with your browser's cache.
Mods have nothing to do with this nor are we able to fix it. We have any issues we find in with the techs.
