Pictures below- 1. I had to replace my fascia and now I am ready to put a gutter back up. I am wondering if I should put up a new one or rehang the old one. The old one is old, dinged up, slightly bent and twisted, and needs a couple of small patches. The inside corner is also a bit chewed up, but I could probably fix it with a piece of sheet metal. It is seamless. The advantage of this would be that I would not have to go through the headache of putting together a brand new gutter. However, I am thinking that if I put up something new it might be easier to hang myself as I can do it in pieces if I want. The gutter is 21 feet long with a corner piece and isn't easy for me to hang myself. I also may have to put my downspout on the opposite side which leads me to my next question. 2. Is this a dumb spot for my downspout? It goes right into this Mulch box (for lack of a better term). It does not have concrete under it so the water does go into the ground, however I think it is also making my concrete dirty from water seeping out of the sides during very heavy rains. I do not mind using a power washer every now and then. I really do not want to move the downspout on the opposite side of my gutter, but I am wondering if it may be a wise thing to do while I am messing with the gutters. I am open to any suggestions with this. During the spring, summer, and fall I have bulbs that grow in the mulch box.

I have a large shed (12’x16’) with a heavily rusted metal roof. I plan to try to paint it as I can’t afford to replace it. Thought I’d put 2 coats of Rustoleum Rusty Metal Primer on it and then paint it with Rustoleum Professional High Performance Protective Enamel paint. Planning to use an extension pole and a roller. The problem is that some of the metal roof panels that were nailed down many years ago have loosened along the edges because some of the nails have popped up a little and as a result the edges have sort of curled up leaving gaps where rain might get under them. It’s too steep for me to get on the roof to try to nail the edges of the panels back down plus I’m concerned about the old roof collapsing with me on it. I thought if I could get an appropriate brush or some other tool and somehow affix it to my extension pole and use roof patch, a thick type that might stay on the brush when I lift the pole to get to the repair area, maybe I could tuck the roof repair material under the edges of the curled up panels. (1) Any suggestions on a tool or brush that I could put on an extension pole that I could buy say at Lowes to apply the patch? (2) What type of thick patch might be good? (3) Any suggestions on a better way to attempt this project? Thanks!
