New roof

How do i seal the eaves so you wont see the old shingles

Why are you leaving the old shingles on? Best practice is to remove them first.

If the shingles are curled up where the new shingles won't lay flat - they old definitely should have been removed, otherwise it shouldn't show too much although close inspection will always reveal 2 layers of shingles.

As already said, the only way to not see the old shingles is to remove them. The old shingles will be visible along the entire edge of the roof.

Now days manyt communities require shingle removal. Two or more layers no longer allowed.
