Should I question roofing installation?

No sure if the pics uploaded. I had new roof put on in November. While doing other repairs I had a chance to inspect roof. My concerns are Roofing nails occasionally shot through drip edge. Ridge vent extending all the way to edge. Most I see set back about a foot. I see what looks to me as seams where shingle are butted together and nothing on top covering.. And some shingles look like they are only 1/8 wide. This seems like a bad idea. Should I question the flashing looks beat up piece under the window? Not sure what that even is. What am I missing here. Was this a botched roof install?

The nail through the drip edge is certainly not desirable but shouldn't cause any harm.

The other items described I'm not seeing in the pictures so can't comment on!

Where ridge vent stops is a personal preference since there is no need to vent the gable overhangs. Since the last shingle on the ridge cap is not covered, the nail heads are usually covered with a roofing adhesive. I doubt you have 1/8 wide shingles since most roofing applications start on one side and finish on the other. The last shingle in a row that is 1/8 shorter than the adjacent rows isn't a problem other than visual.
