Lean to

I am adding on to my pole barn. A lean to that is 10x24 Because of the pitch, I need to use a metal roof. So my question is, can I use 2x6 for the rafters spaced 4 feet apart and use 2x4 for perlins spaced 2 feet apart?

I assume you mean 24x10... 24 feet, 10 ft long rafters? Not if it snows there.

Where are you located? What will the pitch of the roof be?

24 foot long and 10 foot long rafters. Live in Ohio where we do get snow. Just using pine framing lumber. The pitch is what I have an issue with. it will be a slight pitch. Maybe a 4inch raise total over the 10 foot span. Maybe a little more but not 12 inches

I'd suggest you do 2x8 ledger, 2x8 rafters on minimum 32" centers. I'd put purlins on 32" center too. And you will want a 2x12 beam under them in front if you only want to have 3 posts.
