Is there a vinyl fascia corner detail?

Hi all,

I canít see to find out the best way to bring an external corner together with vinyl fascia.

is there a corner piece available, or some particular cut method?

thanks!

I detest vinyl fascia, but the few times I did use it, I would fold a flap around the corner on one... Then the other lays on top of that flap. You have to fold and crease the vinyl flat, bending it all the way over on itself then bend it back to 90.

@xsleeper

you prefer aluminum?

I only have two lengths around a porch, changing isnít too costly.

thanks!

Without a doubt, yes. I do the same detail on the corners. Fold a flap with a 6" hand seamer.

I'm once again I'm 100% with Xsleeper on this one.
That crap should outlawed!
It will oil can (buckle up) in a heart beat.
They tried using it on modular homes in this area and it all buckled up so bad it pop out from under the drip edging causing major damage to brand new homes.
The only way I've been able to keep it flat is to first install under sill behind the drip edging and punch tabs with a snap lock tool to get it to lock in at the top, and only nail it from the bottom into punched out elongated holes so it can expand and contract.
Any face nailing will cause it to buckle up.
